My interest in photography is a total accident. Spending many hours on Internet forums, with one of my interests for example, Reefkeeping. Watching and viewing other peoples threads with fantastic photos full of life and colour that is truly inspirational. Selling items online. There is nothing worse than trying to sell a great product without a great picture to help it sell.
It seams to me the Internet has made the camera a very important tool/hardware. I would think this will have spurred many into this great hobby. Then there are many aspects to photography. like portrait's, landscapes, etc etc.
So to get me started in photography i decided to get an budget/entry level canon EOS 500d DSLR camera with a standard and telephoto lens. I hope to be sharing some of my photos with you, i am open to criticism, help and advice.
I would really like to be able to help and explain aspects of photography as i learn myself in short articles on this blog.
